How to Change a Page Title in Your WordPress Navigation
You can change the title of a page in your navigation menu. Here’s how to do so using either the site editor or classic editor.
Using WordPress Site Editor to Change a Page Title
Select Appearance > Editor. If you do not have an Editor option, you have a classic theme and you’ll use the classic editor tool.
By clicking Editor, you’ll open up your site editor view. Select Navigation.
The Navigation block lists all the live pages on the website. Select the pencil icon to edit.
Now you’re looking at site editor view. Click on the Settings square next to the Save button on the top right. (Settings looks like an uneven square.)
Under the Block tab in Settings, you’ll see a menu with page titles. Click the title you want to change.
The page title should appear in a box marked Label. Click on this box and enter the new title.
Click the Save button.
Using Classic Editor to Change a Page Title
Go to your admin dashboard.
Select Appearance > Menus.
If this is your first time managing the WordPress menu, write a Menu Name and hit Create Menu.
Once a menu is created, you can add menu items by using the Add Menu Items panel.
Once you add an item, you’ll see a Navigation Label box with the menu structure panel. Go to that box and type in the new title for your page.
Click Save Menu.
