Adding and Removing Pages from the Navigation Menu
The WordPress navigation menu offers an easy way to list and link to the pages of a website for visitors. How to add and remove pages from a navigation menu all depends on the WordPress theme of the website.

Editing the Navigation Menu with Site Editor
The steps to adding and removing pages from your WordPress navigation using the site editor are as follows:
- Go to your admin dashboard.
- Select Appearance > Editor. If you do not have an Editor option, you have a classic theme and you’ll use the classic editor tool.
- By clicking Editor, you’ll open up your site editor view. Select Navigation.
- The Navigation block lists all the live pages on the website. To remove and edit these pages from the menu, select the Pencil Icon.
- The screen will narrow to the site editor view. Select the menu area or an item in the menu to open the block editor tool, then click Edit.
- Detach the menu if the website is set to auto add pages to the menu.
- To add pages, select the + sign on the menu.
- To delete menu items, select the page in the menu, then click the three buttons to open a drop down menu. Select delete.
Editing the Navigation Menu with Classic Editor
For WordPress website themes that use the classic theme editor tool, follow these steps:
- Go to your admin dashboard.
- Select Appearance > Menus.
- If this is your first time managing the WordPress menu, write a Menu Name and hit Create Menu.
- Once a menu is created, add menu items by the Add Menu Items panel.
- To remove a page from the menu, select the page within the Menu Structure panel, and click the drop down arrow. Select Remove.
