How to Delete a Page in WordPress
Removing a page from your WordPress website is a very simple process.
To begin, log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Select Pages from the left sidebar.
- On the Pages Menu, find the page you want to delete and hold your mouse cursor over the title.
- Click Trash when it appears under the page title.
Your page will be deleted and placed in the Trash folder.
Deleting Multiple Pages with Bulk Actions
You can also delete one or more pages at once from the Pages menu with a bulk action.
- Click the white boxes to the left of the name of the pages you want to delete. Checkmarks will appear in the selected boxes.
- At both the top and bottom of the list, there are identical dropdown menus for Bulk Actions. Click one.
- Select the option Move to Trash.
- Hit the button labeled Apply.
Permanently Deleting Pages
To permanently remove pages from your website, select Trash from the list of options above the top “Bulk Actions” menu.
- In the Trash menu of deleted pages, mouse over the name of a deleted page,
- Click Delete Permanently when it appears below the page name.
You can also delete multiple pages in the trash with a bulk action.
Pages that are permanently deleted can’t be restored.
