Deleting Blocks From a Page
Deleting blocks on WordPress helps you quickly remove outdated information. In this guide, we’ll go over a couple different methods to delete blocks from your page.
Delete Blocks Using List View
Go to your desired page. This will take you to the Block Editor.
Go to the top left of the page and click on the three uneven horizontal lines. This will bring up list view. You may also hit Shift + Alt + O for a keyboard shortcut to list view.
From the list, select the block you want to delete.
You can hit the backspace key to delete right away. Alternatively, click on the three vertical dots that appear in the toolbar.
A menu will appear. At the bottom will be a Delete button. Select this option.
To delete multiple blocks at once, click on the first block you want to delete, then hold down the shift key and click on the last block you want to delete. You’ve now selected multiple blocks. Click on the three vertical dots and select Delete blocks.
Delete a Block By Clicking On It
Go to the block editor for your desired page.
Click directly on the block you wish to delete.
You can hit backspace to delete the block immediately. Or you can look at toolbar where three vertical dots will appear. Click on the dots.
Select Delete.
