Change Your WordPress Default Password

When you first set up your WordPress site, you’ll receive a default password for your first sign in. It’s a good idea to change that password immediately to secure your website. Here’s how:

1. Sign in to your WordPress dashboard and go to Users > All Users.
2. Click Edit next to your username.
3. Scroll down to the Account Management section.
4. Click Set New Password.
5. WordPress will generate a strong password for you. You can use this password, or type your own password in the New Password field.
6. Click Update Profile to save your changes.
