How to Add a Pattern in WordPress

Patterns are reusable blocks that you can insert on multiple pages throughout your WordPress site. You can edit the pattern from any page and, if you have them synced, they will update cross the site all at once. Here is how you can add a pattern to your WordPress website.

1. Go to the admin dashboard.
2. Click Pages.
3. Open the page you want to add the pattern on. You can do this by clicking the page title itself or clicking Edit.
4. Click the Block Inserter (the blue + sign at the top left-hand corner) > Patterns > All patterns.
5. Choose the pattern you want to insert. It will automatically go on the page when you click on it.

Tip: If the pattern does not load, it might be because you need to click out of a block on the page itself. Try clicking on an empty space on the page before inserting it.
