Adding a Hyperlink to an Image in WordPress

Adding a hyperlink to an image allows website users click on the image and be taken to a new webpage. Here’s how to add a hyperlink to an image in WordPress:

1. Go to your admin dashboard.
2. Select the page or post where you’d like to add the image.
3. Add the image to your page/post.
4. Click on the image.
5. A toolbar will appear. Click the Link button, which is the seventh icon. (Hovering over the icons will give you their names.)
6. Paste the URL in the box that appears.
7. Click Publish (if unpublished) or Update (if live).

Now, when someone clicks on that image on your live site, it will take them directly to the link you inserted.
