How to Get an Idaho Certificate of Existence
A certificate of good standing in the State of Idaho is called a Certificate of Existence. You can order by fax, mail, phone, in person or online, but we recommend online. Online requests can be printed immediately. Normal processing takes up to 3 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $10. Expedited service is not available because online and in person requests are processed immediately.

Online: Go to their website to search for the business entity name and then you can request and print a certificate. You will be able to request that a certificate be generated and displayed in your web browser to be printed in pdf format immediately. However, you also have the option to request that they prepare one with an original signature to be mailed to you or it can be picked up at their office. You will want to have your credit card handy.
By Mail: You will want to provide the business name, specific request, payment, address the documents should be mailed to after processing, and a daytime phone number for any questions.
By Fax: Credit Card Payment Transmittal Form required. You will want to provide the business name, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions on a normal fax cover sheet.
By Phone: Called in requests are accepted and they can give you a specific timeframe for processing. You will want to have the business name and credit card handy when making your call.
In Person: Requested documents can usually be provided within 1 hour. You will want to have the business name and payment handy.
How much does an Idaho Certificate of Existence cost?
To register as a Idaho Corporation.
$11.50 for online requests
$12 for online requests with original signature
$10 for normal processing.
Is expedited processing available?
No. Online requests and in person requests are processed immediately. However, some older businesses may take longer to process, if off site storage documents are needed.
