How do you request a Certified Copy or Certificate of Status from the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies?

Send a letter by mail or fax to the Registry of Joint Stock Companies. Include the type of document you are requesting, the company name and ID number, and your desired method of return. You need to include payment with your request. If you fax your request you have to include your credit card information. If you mail the request you can pay by check, money order, or credit card.

You can have the documents mailed or faxed back to you. You can also request to be notified when the documents are ready so you can pick them up in person. It takes about 3-4 days to process requests for copies.
