Apostille Certificate From The Texas Secretary Of State
How To Order An Apostille Certificate From The Texas Secretary Of State
An original or certified copy is required. Normal processing takes up to 10 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $15. Expedited service is not available. Always provide the name of the country needing a Texas Apostille or Certificate of Authentication.
Requests for corporate documents requiring an Apostille should be directed to the Corporations Section and do not require a form. You are required to order a certified copy of your articles and request an Apostille at the same time through the Corporation Section. We recommend faxing the order, since you are requesting the certified copy at the same time. All that is needed is the name of the country, contact name, phone number and the return address information. They will bill you for any applicable fees.
Requests for Apostille on documents executed before a Texas notary public, documents issued by statewide officials (such as the State Registrar of Vital Statistics, district judges, motor vehicle custodian of records, etc.), and recently issued certified copies by county officials and local registrars should be submitted to the Authentications Unit using the Order Form(s) below.
