How to Get a Delaware Certificate of Good Standing
A certificate of good standing in the State of Delaware is called a Certificate of Good Standing or a Certificate of Status. You can order by fax, mail or in person, but we recommend filing online. You will receive a Certificate of Good Standing immediately if you file online. If you prefer mailing in your request, there is additional time for mailing, and it costs $50. Expedited service is available for $40 or more and should take less than 24 hours, plus additional time for mailing.

By Fax:
Provide the Order Form and a daytime phone number for any questions on a normal fax cover sheet.
In Person:
You can drop off a completed Order Form at the office. However, it will only be expedited if priority fees are paid.
How much does a Delaware Certificate of Good Standing cost?
To register as a Delaware Corporation.
| $50 for normal processing. |
| $1,000 for Priority 1 expedited processing. |
| $500 for Priority 2 expedited processing. |
| $50 for Priority 3 expedited processing. |
| $40 for Priority 4 expedited processing. |
Is expedited processing available?
Yes. They provide the following expedited services:
| Priority 1: | (one hour service) not including mailing time |
| Priority 2: | (two hour service) not including mailing time |
| Priority 3: | (same day service) not including mailing time |
| Priority 4: | (24 hour service) not including mailing time |
Fees are determined by which type of priority service you request. Expedited processing fees are in addition to the normal $50 processing fee.

How long does it take the Delaware Secretary of State to issue a Certificate of Good Standing?

How will the Certificate of Good Standing come back after I order from the Delaware Secretary of State?
It will be mailed by regular mail, unless you request otherwise and provide a pre-addressed prepaid envelope or UPS/Fed Ex account number. Return service by fax or email is available only if paying for Priority 1 or Priority 2 expedited processing.

We can provide it in an email format. If you’re ok with mail format, it will be cheaper for you to just order it direct from the State, but they will only mail it.
