To amend your Kentucky Articles of Incorporation, submit the Articles of Amendment and an exact copy to the Kentucky Secretary of State (SOS). The form is in your online account when you sign up for registered agent service with Northwest. You can also find the form on the SOS website. SOS does not allow you to attach additional documents when their forms do not meet your needs. They do allow you to draft your own amendments to the Articles of Incorporation. You can submit the Articles of Amendment and an exact copy to the SOS by mail or in person. You can pay fees by cash, check, and debit or credit. Include a check payable to the “Kentucky State Treasurer.”
