Accessing an Unsaved WordPress Draft
Closing a WordPress page without hitting save can lead to unintended consequences. However, WordPress autosaves a page every 15 seconds. Whileyou can and should save your drafts manually, if you don’t, Autosave will often help you out.
Here, we’ll show you how to access a WordPress draft that was closed mid-edit.

Click on Pages.

Go to Drafts and find the page you were working on.

Click on the page. The vast majority of your work should still be right there in the block editor.
