What Is California Mail Forwarding Service?

Our premium California Mail Forwarding service allows you to receive your mail at our California location. We even accept Amazon Verification Cards. Unlike many California Mail Forwarding services, this address isn’t merely a private mailbox number (PMB). We own the building that houses our California Mail Forwarding center, so we will assign you a unique suite number. You can use this address and unique suite number on your website, company letterhead, and your bills.

Don’t need a unique suite number? Expecting only occasional mail? We also provide a free limited mail forwarding option when you hire us to be your California registered agent.

Need an office lease or a second phone number in addition to an California address? Upgrade to our California Virtual Office service for $29 a month. 

How California Mail Forwarding Works

When you sign up for our California Mail Forwarding service, you get a secure online account and two options for how to receive your mail.

Option 1: Free Limited Mail Forwarding

With our registered agent service, we provide use of our business address on public documents. As registered agents, we automatically accept and forward you your state and legal mail. But sometimes clients, partners or others will reach out to the address listed on your public docs instead of through your website or the address on your business cards. We’re happy to forward up to 5 pieces of business mail each year. However, our mail forwarding service only covers standard flat mail, we are currently unable to forward any packages delivered to our offices.

If you receive more than 5 pieces of mail at our business address, we’ll notify you when we get it, and you can opt to have it forwarded at a rate of $15 per item. If you expect a lot of mail, however, our Premium Mail Forwarding Service is the better option.

Option 2: $20 Premium California Mail Forwarding Service

For $20 a month, you get a professional California business address with a unique suite number and unlimited forwards. You can choose between same-day digital scans or physical forwarding of flat standard mail (as with our free service, we can’t forward packages):

Same-Day Digital California Mail Forwarding

Our typical process—the one preferred by most of our California Mail Forwarding service clients—is to have our trained California staff open your mail, sort it, scan it, and upload PDF versions of the scanned documents to your online account. You’ll then receive a notification that a document has been uploaded, and you can simply access and view your mail online.

This is the same-day digital scanning option you can choose on the sign up form, and it’s as fast and convenient as receiving mail every day at a physical location.

Weekly Physical California Mail Forwarding

If you prefer that our staff doesn’t open your mail, or if you simply want to receive the physical copies, you can select physical mail forwarding on the sign up form instead. When you choose physical mail forwarding, we will collect your mail as it comes in, repackage it, and forward it to your preferred physical address each week.

Absolutely. You can sign up for our California Mail Forwarding service as a standalone package or as an additional service when you hire Northwest to be your business’s California registered agent.
