WordPress Custom Websites
All our websites are built using WordPress, a leading web content management system. Because of the broad spectrum of customization, you can do as little or as much as you want to make your website look unique.
If you’re a tech savant, you might want to dig into the guts of your website yourself. Depending on your comfort level, you could dive into the actual HTML of the website to hard code things yourself, or you could use WordPress’s user-friendly templates to tweak and build out your dream site.
There’s a huge pool of resources you can use to become familiar with your website’s potential. We’ve even written a bunch of WordPress editing guides ourselves! These give simple step-by-step instructions to things like choosing fonts, adding widgets, and selecting themes.
Alternatively, you could hand over that burden and let us to take over. You don’t have to lift a finger beyond telling us about your business. We’ve got a team of trained experts who are ready to build out your website as soon as you place the order. Here’s what that process looks like.
Create Your Business Website
Want us to build out a website for you? Here’s what you need to do.
1. Hire Northwest as your registered agent or to form your business.
Our registered agent service is $125 a year. When we’re your registered agent, we receive all your legal mail, like lawsuits, so that you never miss an important legal document. We can also use our address on certain state forms to boost your privacy.
Our business formation service is $39 + state fees. This lets you sit back and relax instead of stressing over your Articles of Incorporation. We’ll file on your behalf and notify you of annual reports.
2. Add business website to your order.
When you are checking out, our Business Identity services will be available as an optional (and free) trial. Here, choose business website. This includes the web hosting (that’s where your website lives on the internet) and SSL security (the thing that protects yours and your users’ privacy from data breaches). Your business website is free for 90 days, then just $9/month after that.
Do you need to add a domain name? Start brainstorming what you want your website address to be and add on our domain name service, free for a whole year.
3. Respond to our design questionnaire.
Once your order shows up on our system, one of our Corporate Guides will reach out to you via email. They’ll give you some information about your order and include a small questionnaire.
This is where you add information about your business. We’ll use to actually build your website! So put everything you want us to know: brand colors, slogans, services you offer, etc.
4. Wait for the magic to happen.
Once we get your survey response, we get to work. This isn’t some computer algorithm: this is a real person, with real training, looking at your responses and making decisions. We’ll add in web copy, adjust the colors, choose appropriate fonts, and make any other aesthetic changes that are needed.
We can make you a home page, a contact page, and an about page! All this content is made fresh, so your website is unique and personalized.
5. Check out your new website.
Once your website is finished, we’ll reach out and send you the link. Here’s your chance to look it all over! Love it? Amazing, we knew it! Wish it was blue instead of purple? Not a problem, that’s an easy fix. Want to add more pages? We can point you in the right direction!
